Can two people see the same sky?
What overlapping horizons actually mean, and how to find a moment that works.
Often yes. Whether two horizons can hold the same object at the same instant depends on how far apart they are, in which direction, and how high the object sits.
Every observer sees roughly half the sky at once. Two places share whatever part of the celestial sphere both horizons happen to include at the same moment.
Difference in longitude shifts what time it is for each person; difference in latitude shifts how high an object climbs. Both are geometry, not opinion.
The Moon and the bright planets are the most reliable shared targets, because they are visible without equipment and sit high enough to clear most horizons.
